19th c. Pair of Swedish Late Gustavian Period Painted Bedside Commodes

Description
A special, neoclassical pair of Swedish Gustavian style painted chests with a soft gray patina. Each chest has dentil modeling around the top and three raised panel drawers with tapered legs. The corner posts are canted and fluted with carved rosettes at the top.
