BUCHA SOBERANA BY CULTIVADO EM CASA
-
Description
Luffa (known scientifically as luffa cylindrical), a recurrent climbing plant in Brazilian culture, took the designers to the city of Bonfim, located in the interior of the State of Minas Gerais and known as the National Capital of Bucha. Local producers provided the studio with larger, more soft, light-colored luffas. From its studies and dissection, the material was worked as part coating of the cabinet. Eight dozen luffas were used, resulting in more than seven hundred scales, all sewn by hand with nylon thread. To create a counterpoint to the natural appearance of the vegetable bush, the brass was chosen as a compliment, for its noble appeal.
