Piet Hein Attribution Daniel Jones Anthropomorphic Walnut Cabinet Triple Mirror
-
Description
Fusing Danish-Design sensibilities (such as high quality walnut and superior craftsmanship) with the anthropomorphic design vocaulary of Vladimir Kagan, this fabulous Mid-Century cabinet is attributed to Piet Hein and manufactured by Daniel Jones. Piet Hein was a Danish mathematician, poet, artist and prlific furniture/industrial designer.
Featuring sculpted wlanut legs supporting a beautifully bookmatched walnut cabinet-case, with subtly styled solid brass pulls, having three center drawers flanked by two cabinet doors, adorned with an intricarte triple mirror, this Atomic-Design era cabinet will make a statement as a sideboard used in your dining room or a dresser used in your bedroom.
At 82" long, this grand-scale cabinet is in wonderful original condition. All the doors and drawers work, having clean interiors. The original satin sheen finish is intact and shows minor scuffs and scratches. There are a handful of shallow dents and a couple of filled chips at the bottom edges. Essentially, this quality piece is in wonderful condition, with only a few hard-to-see blemishes that have been touched up.
