Beautiful English craftsmanship hand painted and decorated gilt chinoiserie display cabinet. This chinoiserie cabinet has Chinese Chippendale styling decoration scene and a vibrant gold interior backdrop. The backdrop appears to be hand painted. Unlike other cabinet that mostly come into two piece, this is a one piece and the bottom portion has a single shelf. The cabinet features a twin wood panel beveled glass door resting on a painted / gilt wood frame base sitting on a squared wood base. Each door is made with eight beveled glass sections and gilt wood frame decorated. The lower part of the cabinet is decorated with elaborate chinoiserie decoration in slight relief landscape with architecture and figures including pastoral scene field of people , green , river , trees and pagoda all-throughout . The cabinet is in great condition, some minor age-related Lacquer, Paint and Gilt losses. It stands 86 inches high X 41 inches wide X 14 inches deep.
