Asymmetrical Low Bookcase in English Walnut

Description
Private commission for a clients 1920’s modernist villa. The brief was to create two pieces of furniture, the other being a chest of drawers, that would be stand out pieces in their carefully restored home. The bookcase was for the far end wall of the third floor long room with views over the garden through full height glazed windows & doors leading on to a sun deck.
The shelves have two settings per section. Signed with initials 'JF' and numbered '269' on the underside of the central shelf.
