Beautiful Mid-Century Modern richly grained walnut double door cabinet designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall for Drexel’s Declaration Collection, circa 1960’s. Expertly crafted, remaining in clean vintage condition with a solid, beautifully grained walnut wood case and frame. Features a rectangle top above double hinged cabinet doors, doors open by way of a spring latch for easy opening and closing, further emphasizing the clean, modernistic design and feel. The cabinet opens to reveal ample storage space, with one adjustable shelf. Maker Stamp (by Drexel) on the backside of the cabinet. A recessed base of round tapered legs and apron provide stable support while conveying an airy “floating” effect. Clean lines and timeless style, this showstopper will be an enhancing addition to any interior and blend beautifully with many décor styles. Ideal piece for a bedroom, living room, or entry.
Condition Report: Good original condition, cabinet doors open and close nicely, solid and sturdy construction, minimal wear. The wood grain is naturally highlighted in a walnut pattern throughout, with a rich walnut tone.
