Description
This extremely large pine french cabinet has four upper doors and four lower doors with shelving. The cabinet has been converted at some point from wood paneled to glass doors as is evidenced by markings on each door where the attachment for the panels were originally. The piece is an example of fine craftsmanship with fielded paneled lower doors and sides. The brass escutcheons and hinges are elegantly designed. The piece has signs of age and wear including woodworm and old repairs. The piece has later replaced brass locks with one key that works on each lock. This cabinet is a beautiful piece for the combined uses of storage and display.
