Danish Modern Teak Tambour-Door Credenza Signed Peter Løvig Nielsen 1965

Description
Elegant credenza designed and manufactured by Peter Løvig Nielsen in Denmark, dated 1965. Featuring a teak wood construction with seamless tambour doors adorned with subtle aluminum-accented pulls. The doors open smoothly to reveal ample storage room within; five dovetailed trays located in the middle compartment with two shelves on the left, and one large shelf on the right. Whether you are storing linens and silverware or using it as a media console, this piece is versatile enough to be used in various settings. Also has a finished back and a branded and ink stamped signature on the underside.
Condition: I purchased this cabinet from the original owners. The owner was in the service in the 1960s and was able to purchase many Danish pieces and have them shipped home by US service ships very inexpensively. The original oiled-teak finish has a very rich patina with very few blemishes or signs of use. Doors slide very well and interiors are very clean. A superb time capsule piece! - More Information
