This beautiful and materially exquisite Art Deco Skyscraper Style Milk Glass Pendant Chandelier with Black Enameled Detailing & Chrome Fittings originates from the United States, Circa 1935. It features a timeless geometric composition formed of tiered elements with skyscraper style raised striations and black enamel decorative line-work. The body of the chandelier is rendered in a lovely hue of Milk Glass, a material characteristic of the era, with a bottom shade of pressed transparent glass adorned with linear and rounded detailing across it's variety of stepped tiers. The rod which supports the chandelier is fitted with rounded machine aged detailing, a brilliant detail cementing the piece to the Art Deco era and adding an additional rewarding detail. The black enameled line-work is extremely precise and works within the structure of the shades, accenting and providing stunning detail and drawing the eye for longer viewing and appreciation. Newly Rewired to American Standards, and height can be adjusted to suit. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
