    Pair of 1950s Gino Sarfatti Model #27 Perforated Sconces for Arteluce. Executed in blue painted perforated aluminum and brass. Double ball jointed arm allows flexible shade adjustments and multiple configurations. Custom period style backplates added for mounting over a standard American j-box.

    The simplicity of Sarfatti's design and the sculptural shaping of the materials make for an incredibly refined example of this lighting master's influential approach, circa 1946-1950, Italy.

    Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Rewired for US with custom period styled brass backplates designed for hardwiring over a standard American j-box. Accommodates one 60w max LED bulb (lower with incandescent). Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, scratches, patina, losses and wear noted only for accuracy. Please note only one representative example shown in the listing images, but both lamps are in comparably good condition and present well as a pair. Additional images available upon request.
