PRESENTING A STUNNING Art Deco Baccarat Semi Flush Star Burst Crystal Pendant.
This is a period Art Deco piece and was ‘rescued’ from a home in Dallas that was built in 1929.
Though not signed, it is undoubtedly by the famous French maker … Baccarat.
We know this by comparing it to other similar pendants made by Baccarat that have previously appeared on the market. We also know it is by Baccarat due to the ‘swirl pattern’ central column …. a Baccarat signature style !
It is fully original and fully working. Even the sockets are original.
From our research of these Baccarat Star Burst Pendants this is a miraculous survivor !! NONE of the others we can find still retain the swirl crystal central column !!!!
In an interesting ‘twist’ the Star Burst Section tilts 45 degrees in any direction ! This leads us to believe that this could also function as a table or desk lamp, if mounted on a plinth.
In SUPERB original condition with no chips or cracks.
