Timelessly elegant table lamp by graphic artist and ceramics designer Ebbe Sadolin (1900-1982), inspired by the form of a traditional Chinese Fengweizun ("Phoenix-Tail") vase, having a spherical body with a flanged foot and flared neck, surrounded in a cheerful carved relief of stylized chrysanthemums; crafted in porcelain with an eggshell finish glaze with a touch of celadon to bring out the relief; Denmark, 1927-1930s; Stamped B&G mark, painted "1241/772/441"
