Description
The sculptural lighting piece continues the exploration around industrial structures, architectural elements that surround us.
The multi-layered objects were constructed in a spontaneous way by assembling hand thrown stoneware semi-cylinders as if playing with building blocks.
With its rigid structure and matt tactile surface, the light piece balances between modern precision and sensual craftsmanship.
The soft shadows highlight the traces of touch left by their maker and makes us aware of the craftsmen behind the object.
Available in two sizes: Small (29x20x12 cm) / Large (38x30x15 cm)
Evelina is a product designer based in Vilnius, Lithuania. She sees the object through materiality and the concept of transformation. Evelina is searching for different materials and processing techniques. Applying them to everyday objects, creating the opportunity to see them from a different perspective. Her projects are based on an awareness of function and rationality, combined with a poetic and emotional dimension.
