An incredible pair of enormous rattan dome ceiling pendants attributed to the hugely influential Italian designer Gabriella Crespi. Each of the pendants spanning over 90cm in diameter, with original brass fittings to the tops and inside the shades.

Both pendants are in superb condition, showing minimum signs of wear, and date to the late 1960’s.

At the end of the 1950s, Gabriella Crespi commenced her activity as a designer and presented her first collections in Milan. Mrs. Hoving, owner of Tiffany & Co. and Bonwit Teller at that time, owned her first works and, from the early 1960s, her objects were commissioned by Dior for the gifts department, home decor and dining: the ties between Crespi and Dior will last for almost twenty years.

None of the lighting will require rewiring for use in the USA.

All of our lighting is wired and ready for use in the USA. For ceiling and wall lights you would just need to use the suitable USA 120V lightbulbs.

For all Table and Floor lamps, you would simply need to fit a USA standard electrical plug or use a USA adapter. You would also need to use the suitable USA 120V lightbulbs.

Notes:	These were sourced from a Parisian dealer who acquired them from the town house where there was a very large collection of Crespi lighting, furniture and home wares. These are not signed, but are confidently attributed to Crespi, and said to be by Crespi by the original owner who bought them in 1983
