Stone Uplight by Henry Wilson

Description
Stone uplight by Henry Wilson
The large stone uplight is carved from a single block of black travertine and emits an atmospheric glow. The sculptural form creates a balancing illusion.
Each light is manufactured in natural stone, meaning variations of the pattern in the stone will occur from piece to piece.
The large stone uplight measures D300 x 150mm and come boxed with wiring.
Henry Wilson's work combines a rational, democratic utility with an element of sculptural expression. There is a clear form and function in our products, but it’s important they also have feeling. We are interested in the awkward beauty that comes from something made by hand. We like to explore how imperfection can be introduced into an industrial process, to make something at scale that retains a sense of individual charm.
