Marianne Brandt was a student then a teacher/master at the Bauhaus school where she ran the metal department, then became chief designer at Kandem.

Iconic Bauhaus desk lamp by Marianne Brandt (1893-1983), manufactured by Kandem. This type of glass base made in this model is the most sought after. Original dark green paint.
