Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte Pair of Wall Lights mod. 1552
-
Description
Some notes about the author Max Ingrand: a famous French master glass worker and decorator, he was artistic director of FontanaArte for one decade, starting from 1954. During that time, he came up with true design classics. Having studied at the school of fine Arts in Paris, he specialised in the decorative Arts, under the guidance of major artists such as Jacques Grüber and Charles Lemaresquier. He produced a great number of stained glass panels for religious buildings, hotels and public places, and was awarded the French Legion of Honour.
Here we have a beautiful pair of wall lights mod. 1552, nickel- plated brass structure, double screen diffusore in satin glass and central body in cut glass.
Designed by Max Ingrand and produced by Fontana Arte in 1950 circa.
We can rewire the light system to US standards upon request.
We recommend a wooden crate for shipping to prevent glass damage. -
