Large Japanese Minimalist glass & patinated metal wall light for Kokosha. A highly refined and striking scaled wall lamp produced by Kokosho Co. LTD in Japan in the early 1970s. Executed in patinated metal with opaline glass and original on/off switch. A functional organic yet industrial design of deceptive simplicity, these wall lights exude Japanese refinement with an obvious Scandinavian influence. Finnish designer Paavo Tynell designed quite similar wall lamps for various well-documented commercial projects in Finland during the 1930s.

Only one lamp available.

Professionally rewired for US electrical with new socket. Accommodates a single 60w equivalent bulb. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from an authorized 3rd party vendor for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, losses and marks as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
