Pair of Sculptural Mid-Century Modern Polished Brass and Cork Table Lamps

This stunning and graphic pair of table lamps were realized in the United States, circa 1960. They feature two square forms in cork finished in a burnt umber brown separated by hourglass forms that adjoin an orbital centre in polished brass. Two additional cylindrical supports flank the hourglass forms, also in polished brass. With their clean modernist lines as well as their sophisticated contrast of earth tones and polished, these table lamps would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. They come fitted with custom shades.
