Sandwiched between two components, the light source is projected onto the concave backing. The light follows the gentle bowl of the dish and is directed outward, reflecting a warm glow of light onto the opposing surface. The blackened bronze mounting element is sand cast and rumbled to a polished finish, in Sydney Australia. The Classico travertine sconce is carved in Portugal. Sculptural both in use and when switched off. The weight of the light requires a strong mounting location.
