Description
A Late 18th Century Irish Bone Carved Mirror in superb condition, adorned with the motto “Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense,” French for ‘Evil be to him who evil thinks’, the motto of the Order of the Garter, appearing on the scrolling banner below the Irish coat of arms and the whole embellished with knights, angels, harps, dragons, foliate motifs and fitted with a later beveled glass plate
