This Art Deco Wrought Iron Mirror with Highly Stylized Cubist Detailing and stylized geometric Floral Elements originates from France, Circa 1930 and is truly a work of art. The piece features a faceted geometric triangle shard motif in brushed steel . The highly stylized cubist elements and top detailing in writhing caste iron framing evokes overlapping sunbursts with cross hatched centers. Beautifully even hand-hammered stippled texturing marks nearly every exposed surface of the piece giving intrigue and prolonged viewing at a variety of distances. The sharp and sudden geometric movement of the brushed steel triangle detailing is balanced by the solidity and careful hand texturing dominant of the wrought Iron frame and the naturalistic forms surrounding the top of the piece. A monumental and strong profile, this mirror is sure to delight sophisticated collectors of Art Deco and those with a penchant for unique items. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
