French Early 20th Century Faux Bamboo Cheval Mirror

Description
This large French cheval mirror, c. 1930, is painted matte black with gold accents. The original mirror plate has some foxing and measures 58-?”H x 26-?”W. The faux bamboo, carved wood frame resembles Louis Philippe-style with curved top corners. Two side posts capped with finials hold the pivoting mirror and are supported on a carved leg structure with a baluster-style stretcher connecting each side. The whole rests on four casters.
