Description
Giltwood tabernacle mirror dating to the first two decades of the 19th century. Hand-carved giltwood frame retains its original mirror plate, applied decoration and gilding (with some old restoration). In late neoclassical design, the rectangular mirror is flanked by two robust columns and topped by a classical pediment. Probably made in New York.
