Description
A rare and elegant brass framed mirror attribute to designer Gio Ponti, the crest is shaped and tapers downward to a straight side and base. The whole mirror plate is surrounded with brass scroll motif bordering the outer brass molding. The brass is warm and rich with original patina. A very fine example of the mirrors made during this period with great lines.

Origin: Italy Period: 1920-1949 Materials: Brass, Glass Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. The brass in original condition with a rich and warm patina, some foxing and loss to the mirror plate on the right hand mid to lower side. See images for details. Original mirror plate.
