Large 19th Century Louis Philippe Mirror

Description
A 19th century French gilded mirror. The wider proportions of this impressive wall mirror make it perfect to use as a grand overmantle, leaner or large wall mirror. The wide sturdy frame has a raised moulded design with a plain gilded finish. The gilding has mellowed and dulled a little over the past two centuries creating a warm atmospheric surface. The large original mirror plate is in great condition with just a little foxing consistent with old mirror. Original panelled back. France Circa 1820. W 42.5" x D 2" x H 50.50"
