It offers a straight rectangular form with rounded corners and a subtly concave top wrapped in lustrous brass, while the interior is plain mirror. This piece is a study in the simple beauty of first rate design. Its austere form still communicates all of the verve and elan of Mid Century Italian design at its very best.
