Rustic Tramp Art Wall Mirror Notch Cut Design - 19th Century, Austria ca. 1870
-
Description
Exceptional looking rustic 19th century Tramp Art mirror out of Austria. This fantastic rustic wall mirror from around 1870 convinces by its great variety of chip carvings. Slightly protruding corners and the dark brown stained frame makes this rural mirror a highly decorative piece, spreading this unique rural charm. The frame is slightly warped but this is nothing unusual for these old Tramp Art mirrors much more - it confers the mirror this special charm. The mirror plate has been renewed during restoration. A metal clamp on the backside makes wall mounting easy.
