Description
A luggage bench of utilitarian function yet refined design featuring a rectangular seat of three evenly spaced wooden slats, with rounded corners, supported by four finely turned legs. Crafted from medium-toned oak, the piece exhibits warm patination and subtle wear consistent with age and use. This bench would have served as a practical companion in a guest room or dressing area, offering a place to rest luggage or garments. Today, it doubles as a sculptural accent—equally suited to a curated interior or a collector’s vignette. England, circa 1900.
