1930s Viennese : pair figural burl walnut Art Deco lounge chairs
-
Description
An exceptional pair of lounge chairs from the 1920s to 1930s with a continuous, flowing arm-to-leg structure that is a hallmark of Art Deco and early modernist bentwood designs. Frames veneered in a highly figured walnut grain with a rich amber-brown coloration. Recently updated in a striking blue velvet. The refined nature and quality of the design point to a Viennese Secessionist lineage. Just gorgeous.
Sold as a pair. -
