Mid-century modern stunning, beautiful, high-quality long gondola walnut framed sofa model 2640-S, designed by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates. In new upholstery fabric and high-density foam. An exceptional sofa both for its form and quality, it is a distinctive and heavily crafted work. This sofa embodies the whimsical fervor of the period, set over stylish and playful triangular front solid walnut legs, accented with a solid front walnut frame, and two walnut tapered back legs. all with a gondola shape. The sofa has amazing form, with one loose single large seat cushion, three tufted removable back cushions, and stylishly angled arms with custom side pillows. Making this sofa just as comfortable as it is beautiful, with amazing form. The walnut legs and details look great and retain their original oiled finish. The sofa is newly upholstered in a sophisticated green fabric and high-density foam throughout, webbing is tight. This time capsule is an absolute treasure of a find for anyone passionate about excellent quality in their collection. A very comfortable piece, having distinctive characteristics of its time, crafted to last many generations, remains young in years.
