Step into the realm of comfort and sophistication with the Kalos lounge chair and ottoman, designed by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia / Maxalto in 1997. This chair and ottoman set, newly upholstered in a serene oatmeal-colored linen blend fabric from Holly Hunt, brings a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic to any living space.
The set harmonizes modern design sensibilities with classic comfort, featuring solid oak feet stained in dark, rich tones to ground the pieces with an understated elegance. The integrity of the foam remains uncompromised, promising the same level of comfort as when it was first purchased in 2004, ensuring that the chair and ottoman retain not just their shape but their inviting appeal.
Both the chair and ottoman bear the original tags, attesting to their authenticity and well-documented provenance. This lounge set is not merely a seating option; it's a modern interpretation of the classic easy chair, designed to offer a haven of relaxation in today's fast-paced world.
The chair measures 35 inches in height, 30 inches in width, and 41 inches in depth, providing a generous space to unwind. The accompanying ottoman, at 6.25 inches high, 22 inches wide, and 14.5 inches deep, complements the chair perfectly, offering a place to rest your feet and can easily be moved away.
A custom lumbar pillow, fabricated specifically for this set, enhances the comfort, allowing you to indulge in luxury that is both seen and felt (though not originally part of Citterio's design).
Embrace the elegance of Italian design with this Kalos lounge chair and ottoman—a pairing that offers an inviting retreat into comfort and style. -
