Early 20th century bentwood seating set/ salon suite by Thonet from the Art Nouveau period in Austria, circa 1910. Attributed to the famous Austrian architect and designer Otto Wagner, this beechwood suite consists of four great shaped chairs, all newly upholstered in fine crème colored leather, and a beautifully designed round table. The glossy black lacquered table plate sits on a wonderfully shaped column showing an unusual bar design in the upper part and an artfully processed Hammer-finished brass base. A one of a kind bentwood salon suite showing best how timeless the designs of Otto Wagner still are.
