A beautiful set of four mid-century modern Aro swivel bar stools by Lievore Altherr Molina for Bernhardt Design. Offers the perfect blend of simplicity, balance and function to create a modern elegance that can work with any decorating style. Simple, clean, and timeless. Each stool features sculpted base from a single piece of polished stainless steel, symmetrical horizontal rings and two vertical polished stainless steel flat bars which provide access and footrests from every angle as well as absolute stability. Topped with a comfortable hidden swivel wood seat. It has an excellent build, frame tight and sturdy, structurally sound, great style and quality construction, with beautiful modernist design, superior durability. Maker’s original label affixed to underside (Bernhardt Design). Bring character and function to any kitchen gathering. Perfect for a home bar or kitchen island.
Condition Report: Original wood seats with minor wear, very comfortable and supportive. Excellent frames all intact, sturdy and strong, polished stainless steel, minimal oxidization.

Bernhardt Design’s History
In 1889, John Mathias Bernhardt founded the first industrial venture in rural Lenoir, North Carolina, which would later become the Bernhardt Furniture Company. Leveraging the region’s natural resources and local woodworking skills to strengthen the local economy, he opened his factory with vast ambitions and twenty-five employees. In 1981 Bernhardt formed a contract division, Bernhardt Design, offering furniture for offices, conference rooms, and public spaces. This division, under the original leadership of Anne Bernhardt, has become a leading supplier and style-setter in this product category. - More Information
