Many of Carlo Bugatti's superior pieces have been commissioned by some of the Royal Houses of Europe, by some of the great estates of America and Europe, and by some of the most successful families around the world. The eccentric decoration is characteristic of the Bugatti style, which gives the impression of rich oriental exoticism. Through Bugatti's works we can see many cultural references and inspirations from the Moorish, Japanese, Islamic, African, European and British Arts and Crafts movement. Bugatti stylized his work more and more, the geometrization of his furniture became a real characteristic of his work.
Here we have a rare Chair designed by Carlo Bugatti and produced in his atelier in 1900 circa. It has an ebonized wooden structure with parchment coverings and copper, bone and trimming details.
Fully original, in very good condition and ready to be shipped.
