Description
Cesare Lacca (1913-1978) was an Italian furniture designer and interior decorator who gained fame in the mid-20th century. His innovative designs combined traditional Italian craftsmanship with modernist forms and materials, emphasizing streamlined and functional designs that appealed to a society eager for renewal and progress in the post-World War II era. Despite his success, Lacca remained devoted to the principles of craftsmanship and quality and continued to create beautiful and enduring pieces until his death. Today, his designs are celebrated for their timeless elegance and enduring appeal.
Here we have a pair of occasional coffee table, lacquered wooden structure with glass top, designed by Cesare Lacca in 1950 circa.
In very good condition, original and ready to be shipped.
We recommend a wooden crate for shipping to prevent glass damage. -
