Charlotte Perriand chairs from La Chachette, France
-
Description
A pair of low, foldable 'chauffeuse' (fireside) lounge chairs in oak, attributed to Charlotte Perriand. The chairs are from the La Cachette building at the Arc 1600 ski resort in Les Arcs (1967-69), built by a team of architects, including Perriand. The chairs are made of solid wood, giving the chairs a sturdy and rustic look, matching the chalet style interior of the building.
The chairs have grey fabric cushions, custom-made in our in-house atelier. -
