Danish Cabinetmaker, Mid-Century Modern, Curved Banana Sofa, Green Velvet, Denmark c. 1940s
Organic form mid-century modern banana sofa designed and produced in Denmark circa 1940s. This example features a modernist freestanding curved shape. The upper maintains it's original soft green velvet upholstery having a partially channeled back. The entire work sits on 6 stained beechwood legs original from the mid-century time period.
