This sophisticated Set of Six Art Deco Walnut Dining Chairs W/ Upholstered Seats is by Donald Deskey for the Hastings Co. and originates from the United States, Circa 1935. With a thoughtful and elegant minimal composition in book-matched walnut with an upholstered seat in Holly Hunt Geo-Mohair Upholstery, these chairs are an excellent example of the design characteristics and motifs of the Art Deco era. This set features five chairs with no armrests, and one chair with sculptural arm rests and an upholstered back support. A lovely example of Donald Deskey's design practice, whose pieces are innovative and highly coveted. This set of chairs will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. In Mint Restored Condition
