Six beautiful mid century model #89 teak dining chairs by Scandinavian designer Erik Buch for Povl Dinesen, circa 1960s. Buch’s organic and functional aesthetic are showcased in these beautifully crafted modern teak dining chairs. This rare set of classic Scandinavian chairs feature a curved “floating” seat with a sculpted teak frame. The padded backrests and “floating” seats rest gracefully on a sculpted teak frame with a warm brown patina. These extremely comfortable solid teak chairs are very sturdy. Erik Buch chairs with their simple sculpted details and comfortable seats are some of the most collectable modern chairs on the market. Label located beneath chair – (Original Modern Danish – Supplied by Povl Dinesen – Madvigs Allé, Copenhagen Denmark). This rare mid-century set will be a welcome addition and enhance any modern classic home or office.
Condition Report: Construction sturdy and stable; original upholstery in good condition, with light wear, rich teak color.
