Description
Beautiful Italian modernist-restored dining chairs in ash wood and faux leather from the 1960s. Ash wood is a very solid type of wood with a characteristic open structure and can easily be bent after steaming, as we also see with these modernist chairs. The frame looks a bit like an optical illusion. At first glance, the wooden frame seems to be constructed out of one piece, but appearances can be deceiving with this design. The outer wooden ring rests on the legs and is connected to each other via the backrest and, as it were, clamps the inner ring. This ring is also the seat and is covered with skai leather. The backrest has a nice inward and rounded finish so that your back falls well into it. These chairs lend themselves to numerous combinations with different shapes of tables due to their light and minimalistic design. All frames have been fully restored and the seats can of course be reupholstered as desired.
