Description
Each with a rectangular upholstered seat above a blind fret carved seat rail, raised on similarly carved legs joined by H-stretchers, and upholstered in a very fine horse-hair fabric. These stools in the Chinese Chippendale taste were probably made in a provincial center such as Lancaster or possibly Scotland.
