This fine set of three ebonized Viennese Biedermeier chairs were made circa 1825.

Ebonized Biedermeier pieces were mostly made in Vienna, Austria and account for only 1-2 % of all Biedermeier furniture made. Therefore, they are very rare.

Viennese Biedermeier is distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
The upholstery beautifully emphasizes the ebonized shade of the chairs and 200 years old patina.

The chairs sits well and are very comfortable.
The springs give great seating comfort.

The chairs are in very good condition.
