Purchased in Italy and attributed to the important Italian architect Gae Aulenti (1927-2012) who was multi-talented and best known for her work in museum design. This set has similar lines to the designs produced by Knoll - yet with an open architecture. Constructed in lacquered walnut with curved lines to the back and frame to conjure simple elegance. Beautifully contrasting light cognac leather seating. Set of six. 1960s Italy. Seat height is 17.8".
