Sgarsul Rocking Chair by Gae Aulenti for Poltronova

A wonderful example of Gae Aulenti's Sgarsul rocking chair manufactured by Poltronova just north of Florence Italy.
The company was founded in 1957 and established a world class reputation for its openness to bold designs from some of Italy's most noted designers.
Look at the quality of the frame and the great attention to detail found in the execution of the leather seat.
The chair is faded in places but otherwise is in excellent condition as shown in the photos.
