Italian born with Danish heritage, Gugliemo Ulrich (1904-1977) was an architect and designer who's creations did not necessarily conform to modernist simplicity. Like much of his work - these chairs have elegance that take clues from late 19th century with some Art Deco styling. Beautifully shaped complex upholstery channeling in green velvet. Sold as a pair. Italy 1940s. Seat height is 18.1"
