Description
The CH72 chair is a refined Lounge Chair design by Danish architect and master designer Hans J. Wegner, originally introduced at the Danish Furniture Design Exhibition in Copenhagen in 1952. Sculptural yet restrained, the CH72 embodies Wegner’s unmatched ability to balance comfort, craftsmanship, and architectural clarity.
With its gently curved back, integrated arms, and beautifully proportioned frame, the CH72 offers an inviting sit while maintaining a compact footprint—making it an ideal choice for apartments, studies, or intimate living spaces where form matters as much as function. Every line is purposeful, every curve considered.
Shown here in our signature Italian oxblood leather, a rich, timeless color we often use on Papa Bear and Eames lounge chairs, the sofa takes on a warm, sophisticated presence that highlights the sculptural form of Wegner’s design.
Comfortable, elegant, and deeply collectible, the CH72 is a quiet icon of Danish Modern design—perfect for those who appreciate subtle beauty, exceptional craftsmanship, and furniture that will never go out of style.
