Designed by Jens Risom, this lounge chair was made exclusively for the model year 1953. It features a frame of solid carved walnut and is upholstered in a light floral fabric. Then design also features the typical Risom style of making chairs super interesting from the back. This model's back legs extend farther up than the base of the seat, lending a supported and impressive look. The chair is tilted back to accentuate these design cues. High quality original upholstry, with no tears, and minor signs of wear.

In very nice original condition. This chair is a good candidate for reupholstry, though not strictly necessary. A good steam cleaning would probably go a long way.
