Description
Minimalism meets nature in this elegant live edge bench by Logniture, crafted entirely from solid hardwood. The seat retains the natural undulations and edge of the tree, highlighting the flowing grain and tonal variation of the wood. Its organic form is supported by bold, geometric legs—each one charred using the traditional shou sugi ban method to create a rich, blackened contrast that enhances both durability and visual drama.
This bench embodies the beauty of contrasts: raw and refined, pale and dark, rustic yet architectural. Hand-carved and finished with natural oils and waxes, it brings a grounded, sculptural presence to any space without overpowering it. The use of traditional joinery and a no-nails approach further reinforces its artisanal character.
Perfect for modern organic, Scandinavian, Japandi, wabi-sabi, or rustic contemporary spaces, this bench serves equally well in an entryway, hallway, dining area, or as a statement piece at the foot of a bed. It is also suitable for covered outdoor use.
Each bench is unique and handmade in Europe by Logniture, where craftsmanship and material integrity are central to every piece.

Message from Seller:
We do not cut down, we do not destroy, but seek out downed tree limbs toppled by fierce wind storms or driftwood from the local creek. But, in that moment of discovery all it takes is a tiny spark in the artist's eye and in his vision the piece becomes what it was always meant to be. P: +38.595.396.1045 E: logniture@gmail.com
