Description
Exceptional Pair of rare, neoclassical Biedermeier Shovel Chairs from South Germany around 1830.
Walnut veneered and solid wood. Maple veneer inlay in the backrest with big original Ink painting. Ebony inlaid trim band on the frame. Ebonized two-tiered back decor.
Fully restored condition with shellac french polish. Newly upholstered with black structured velvet and double keder. -
